Dr. Masaru Emoto Reveals the Consciousness of Humanity

The groundbreaking work of pioneer researcher Dr. Masaru Emoto has dramatically changed the way we look at Earth's most precious resource. His knowledge about water has been captured in various books, including The Message from Water where he documents the true nature of water and the influence of human vibrational energy, thoughts, words and music on the molecular structure of water. He has discovered many differences in the crystalline structure of water that has been collected from various places around the world. Water taken from pristine mountain streams show beautiful geometric patterns when frozen, whereas polluted water forms distorted crystalline structures. His famous water crystal photography has been further published in The Hidden Messages in Water and his work has been featured in the popular movie What the Bleep Do We Know!? He speaks to Vivienne Tang about the consciousness of humanity and its connection with water, sharing his thoughts about the polluted oceans and what we can do to change that.

Why and when did you start experimenting with water?

The moment I became interested in water was over 22 years ago. I was in the US and at that time I had established a division in our company to import low frequency healing devices from the United States. One day I went to play golf with my partner over there, but I had a severe pain in my leg. He offered me some water, and he put it on my leg to heal the pain. I was very fascinated and amazed by what water can do.

What did he do with the water before he put it on your leg? Did he teach you and explain?

When I was six years old, I had my first encounter with water. I went to swim in the ocean nearby, and I almost drowned. The lady on the boat rescued me, and I went home crying, telling my mother that I almost drowned. And my mother said something very important to me, "Masaru, listen to me. Never try to go against water. But it can carry you, if you totally give yourself to the water." There is a saying in Japanese. "If you totally surrender to water, you'll be floating on the surface." And she said, "Water can carry you to the spot where you can stand. Just trust water." That stayed in my mind as a very deep and important memory.

When did you figure out that thoughts and words create our reality and how that is related to water? How did you realize that all the information is in the water?

Soon after my experience with this healing water in California our partner offered us this special kind of water called micro-clustered water. I was fascinated and intrigued by it. I wanted to find out more about it. So we decided to invite those people over to Japan and we imported the water. We held a big Water symposium in three major cities in Japan, including Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka. Over 700 people came to listen to the lectures, however the content of the lectures were very difficult. So people got really bored. The plan of the symposium turned out to be a failure. I was very disappointed by the fact that no one knew very much about water. So I asked my friend in the United States if there is a device to major the quality of water. About two or three months later, my friend contacted me and told me that he found something to alter the state of water. I immediately flew to the United States and brought back the machine to Japan. It is called MRA Magnetic Resonance Analyzer. It is the kind of machine that has been used in Europe to make and alter the quality of homeopathic remedies or to imprint information into water to put in homeopathic remedies.

It was very difficult for my employee to work with the machine. Six months later I just decided to do it by myself. Amazingly, when I tried it, it was very easy. I started giving consultations on my own, using this machine. First we were able to improve some people's health condition with the machine, and after that we could imprint information into the water. This kind of information or subtle vibration we call "hado" in Japanese. So I started using "hado" water with this machine, by putting necessary information into water and then giving it to our patients. Most illnesses or ailments were cured. It was very effective, and I continued this kind of business for about seven years.

Many people kept asking me to work on them, but some people were critically ill and had to stay in the hospital or at home, bedridden. They didn't come to see me, but they still wanted my treatment. So I decided to use the person's hair or nail or something connected to the person, in order to improve this person's energetic state. But it wasn't very hygienic to bring someone's nail, so I decided to use a person's picture instead, and later on I would just type in the name of that person, but the effect was almost the same as when the person was standing in front of me. It was around that time that I found out that letters or pictures still have information or energetic vibration.

So I wanted to put my experience into books. After seeing over 10,000 people I felt pretty confident about this result. I published over 11 books, explaining my "hado" counselling and my "hado" theory, and the books were very well received in Japan. Even though there were people who totally believed in this philosophy, conventional people and scientists were sceptical about this.

So how did you convince the sceptics?

I was just looking for means to let everyone understand the power of water. It was 1994 when I saw a book, showing many snowflakes, and something just dawned on me. Snow is also made out of water. So why not create water crystals? I decided to freeze water with different information and to see the different results. Over two months we tried, and then finally we succeeded to see a water crystal.

Through using the MRA machine I already had this knowledge and intuition of letters, pictures and names that contain information. That was already my knowledge, so it was very natural for me to show that information through water or to play music and see the change in the water crystals afterwards.

So how have you further developed this knowledge? Have you tried to create bottled water?

Actually I have never produced any bottled water. First of all it's very costly. The price of one would be very expensive. If we can manufacture many bottles at one time, we can make the price lower, but we are not focusing on manufacturing right now.

What is the main message in the water for humanity?

Water is the mirror of human consciousness and that is the source of all the existence in this Universe. If people can understand this, they should be able to understand that our consciousness is everything.

What can we do to raise our consciousness? How can we all contribute?

First, all the people need to understand that our consciousness is everything. So our consciousness can change everything. In order to have them understand, the education is very important. Photography is very effective for that. We are the creators, offering our feeling of gratitude. That's very important. If we can all understand this and try our best to offer this kind of feeling, we should be able to reach heaven.

You also organize prayers over lakes, and you've experienced great transformation of the water. Is this something you do on a regular basis?

Yes, I do this regularly. Whenever I get invited, people always ask me to do this kind of ceremony at their local spot, and I am happy to do this and gather with the people.

In which countries have you done this before?

The big one we did recently was at lake Baikal in Russia. We offered our gratitude and respect to the water there and to the water all over the world. Two or three hours after the ceremony a huge double rainbow appeared over the lake. The next one will be from June 19 to 21. It's called Live H2O, it will be held at nine main venues all over the world. 144,000 people are getting together to send the vibration to water, and they will perform some music, singing and prayer to change the vibration of the water. It is organized by another organization, but I was invited to do the ceremony in California. On July 25 I'll do a ceremony in the United States in Ashland Oregon. This is the end of the year in the Mayan calendar, so I've decided to do it on this day. The significance of this day is to raise our consciousness towards December 2012.

What do you have to say about the polluted oceans? What do they reflect?

We can do something in our daily lives. We can offer our apology, love and gratitude to the water around us, including the water in our physical body. Different waters communicate with each other and the vibration spreads.

You've mentioned before that God's creation is reflected in the water. Can you elaborate?

First I would like to explain more about Earth, because at the moment we're living on this planet. We're only able to activate three percent of our whole brain capacity. We received this power and this ability from God, but only three percent has been activated by us. I believe that God created water in order for us to believe God's wisdom and his message for this world.

Water is almost like a medium to deliver God's wisdom to our human world. That may have been the purpose of God to create water. This is what I believe, because water can change into different forms, such as ice, mist or fog. Water has the mission to deliver God's direction and information to us. We can find water in any place that God created.

We are the ones who can experience and spread God's wisdom, but our consciousness has been changed because of this kind of environment. Our consciousness drifted further and further away from God's consciousness. Water also reflects consciousness, because we have the power to change water through thoughts and emotions. That is why we're having all these natural disasters and the problems with water on this planet. That's how I understand it. So we can fix our consciousness if we send our repentance, love and gratitude to water, and it can change to become clear, pure and normal. This is how we can change our environment on this planet.

What is the connection between enlightenment and water?

We do need to have enlightenment in our consciousness. However, we have been sent from other places, we are not native to this planet. Water didn't originate on this planet. It came from other planets in the Universe. This was the announcement that NASA made. So water came to this planet as ice balls, and they still continue to arrive as ice balls on this planet. But water keeps coming to this planet, without us sending water to other planets. When we look at our next-door neighbour, Mars, they don't have water at all, because we're not able to send water from here to there. This is because our consciousness doesn't have enlightenment yet. So when we attain enlightenment, water can also attain enlightenment to go to the next planet, which is Mars in this case. We too are supposed to go to the next place after this planet. But we're not enlightened enough, we can't arrive at the next planet yet. Unless we can raise our consciousness and can send water to the next place, we will keep repeating the same tragedies that happen every hundred years. In history we had many floods, because we cannot get rid of water on this planet.

What does enlightenment mean to you?

Enlightenment is a state of nothingness, to become totally selfless. That is when we have no ego at all, and just have love and gratitude in our heart. That is the state of enlightenment.

You've mentioned in the past that the souls remain in the water on the Earth.

We remain here on this planet in form of water. We're not supposed to remain here. We're supposed to graduate from this school called planet Earth. However, because we are not enlightened we cannot graduate and we stay here. So we have a mass of spirits that can be left in the form of water. But it's not just human spirits that remain here on this earth, but also thousands of animals that have been killed. The people who live on this planet and die with their attachments and egoistic thoughts... our society is structured in a way that we can't survive without the ego. So most of us remain here in form of spirit or whatever. We're supposed to graduate as I said, and we're supposed to go to the next place, otherwise we get overpopulated on this planet, because we're receiving many newcomers from other planets. Then the ratio gets very imbalanced, and we might have another tragedy like Atlantis. When we talk about reincarnation it sounds kind of cool, "Oh, I've reincarnated a thousand times." But actually this really means that we have failed the test a thousand times. We haven't been able to graduate. We're supposed to finish our studies and work here and go to the next level.

What is your life mission here on Earth?

Yes, I think my whole mission on this planet is to communicate this message to as many people as possible; a water missionary.

What has been the most interesting experience in connection with water and the water crystals?

The most interesting experience in connection with my research of water is my life itself. I've never had any education or training regarding water. I wasn't a spiritual person at all. I was born and raised in a very ordinary way. I was a very ordinary middle-aged man next-door. But after my encounter with water and studying water crystals, so many things arose inside of me. A lot of wisdom just reawakened. I think water and I have a very intimate connection. When the water inside of me gets activated, my DNA also gets activated. That's why I've naturally had all this knowledge, this philosophy and these theories, without having learnt from anyone else. In this lifetime I may have only activated three percent of my DNA, but I hope that I can reach a level of six percent. Maybe in my next lifetime I will be able to awaken ten percent, and after much repetition I may be able to reach 100 percent. This is a possibility that every human being has, including myself. So it is very interesting and exciting to just imagine that you have the potential to reach the level of God, if you are able to reawaken your DNA and your consciousness 100 percent. Even though it may be such a long way, it's very interesting and exciting to challenge this goal. When I think about this journey in my mind, my notion of death has completely changed.

What are your plans? Are there any upcoming projects?

Actually it's not an upcoming project, but an ongoing project we've been doing for some years. It's called the Emoto Peace Project. We give free copies of the water crystal books to children around the world. It's very successful and I'm very happy to see these results, and we will continue this endeavour.

Do you have a motto?

It is to attain love and gratitude, and I would like to enjoy my life on this planet in this three dimensional world more and more.
