Healing on a Cellular Level

Esogetic Colorpuncture is a revolutionary healing technique that can address issues on a physical, mental and emotional level, by simply focusing coloured light on acupuncture points on the skin to achieve powerful healing impulses and profound results. The easily accessible therapy uses a hand-held acu-light tool (similar to a light torch) with interchangeable coloured glass rods that emit different colours of light for the skin to absorb.

“We touch the skin with the light pen,” says Hans Rendler from Germany, an Esogetic Colorpuncture practitioner, who has been teaching naturopathic healing practices for the last 20 years. “As we have a certain frequency with the colours, we are bringing information to the cells. Colorpuncture works on the basis of information and energy. Every time a body part is in pain or an organ has a symptom, there is a psychological aspect. So we need to treat the soul or the psyche. We need to give information to the cells, to the organs or any part of the body. Colours have basic indications, with blue for example, it’s cooling and relaxing, but just like the depth of the ocean, you can go deep, or the vastness of the sky, you can open and widen the consciousness.”

The therapy was created by German scientist and naturopath Peter Mandel. He first started with acupuncture points and used coloured light on them, stimulating cellular communication to support healing. Then he developed tools and prescribed recipes that were created from several studies. “If there is pain you use blue, for detoxification you use green,” says Rendler. “We have a spectrum of colours that ranges from red, orange, yellow, green, turquoise, blue and violet; the rainbow colours. Then we have the soul spirit colours, which address the psychological part and the background of any disease or pain, like light turquoise, light green, crimson and rose. To access the root cause of the problem, we use the three grey shades; light, mid and dark grey. We also have infrared, which we apply for physical issues such as pain and ultraviolet, which we use to address the deep psyche and soul.”

Rendler, who always has his Colorpuncture set with him, relies on it. “If I have a pain, I can use it by myself before going to sleep or before going to work,” he says. “Ideally one would be treated twice a week, or once in 10 days, it depends on the seriousness of the problem. If somebody has cancer and they are having chemotherapy, then a support of the immune system is deeply needed, a support for detoxification. This is where the family members can treat each other at home if they get a Colorpuncture set. Everybody can use Colorpuncture.”

Furthermore, he also explains that Colorpuncture is an excellent therapy when one is dealing with yin/yang issues in their life. The complimentary colours treat the sensitive area and the basic colours are used on the opposite side to achieve balance. He also refers to the technique as a non-verbal psychotherapy, where the practitioner relies on the patient’s feedback through the body. “Of course we have to learn about the colours and the indications, as well as acupuncture,” says Rendler. “For example you have a pain in the right shoulder, most probably it is connected to the gallbladder or the liver. If we look at the psychological aspect of those organs, we are tuning into anger, frustration and jealousy. So we also use the understanding of Chinese Medicine in Colorpuncture. On the left side of the shoulder it could be connected to the heart or stomach. If there is an imbalance in the organs we look at feelings and attitudes that might be connected to it in order to go deeper into the cause of the problem.”

The patient’s body isn’t the only place to find hidden messages. Mandel also heavily analyzed Kirlian photography of fingertips and toes to diagnose a client’s mental, emotional and physical condition. He developed a unique diagnostic system called Energy Emission Analysis. “Mandel interpreted the photography and found out the deeper cause, which could be in childhood. We even have treatments to support the healing of childhood-, birth traumas or prenatal disturbances, in case the mother experienced difficult situations in her job or in her relationships, etc. Peter Mandel found out through research that there are layers of a body/mind connection. Different phenomenas in Kirlian photography can be interpreted and related to certain years of the individual's life. For example the little finger is connected to the imprint of the prenatal and birth time. The ring finger is connected to 3 years or the endocrine system. The middle finger is connected to 6 years and the complete lymph system. The index finger is related to 9 years, the spine, nervous system and large intestine. The thumb shows a connection to 12 years, the head and teeth. Certain pheneomenas in the emission of the left hand indicate emotional imbalances or traumas which might be the cause of symptoms and diseases. Interpreting the emission of the right hand we understand that everything is collected from the left side and reflects what the person has been going through and is dealing with at this moment.”

The system can appear complex, yet it also offers the perfect technique for someone who is exploring healing work on an entry level, but isn’t ruling out future trainings and deeper diagnoses. There are general recipes, and the technique also focuses on the individual person with their unique story and their history. Results can occur instantly, but for chronic diseases one would need several treatments. “Sometimes the person has a healing crisis when old pains come up again,” says Rendler. “But just like in homeopathy or other natural therapies, that old stuff comes up again in order to create a new balance in the body. Many people get fast responses though. We have three basic principles; the endocrine system gets out of balance whenever we have constant stress, then the immune system gets low, and we get colds, flues, pains and infections. If we don’t take care it can come to a chronic stage, which is a degenerative stage, like kidney stones, gallbladder stones, a chronic stage where energy and information is not flowing in a balanced and proper way.”

Rendler still recalls his most interesting experience with Colorpuncture, the Transmitter Relays Process, which also led him to study and explore the deeper side of the therapy. “It consists of 10 different sessions,” he says. “You go through all different parts of your childhood, your puberty, your prenatal time even. And you look at those phases and see what memories come up. I personally even had past life experiences, and I was really interested in finding out what this is all about. That was the starting point for me. That was when I decided to go deeper into Colorpuncture.”
