Monique Péan supports Charity: Water

Jewellery designer Monique Péan supports Charity: Water, a non-profit organization. She is committed to bringing clean water to impoverished people, by creating a fine jewellery line inspired by water. The luxurious avant-garde eco-collection is made of recycled gold with conflict and devastation free fair trade precious stones and diamonds, avoiding the dirty mining of precious metals that releases mercury into the water system. 10% of the proceeds from each jewellery piece will go to Charity: Water to build water wells and bring clean water into impoverished communities in developing countries. Each item provides drinking water for 10 people for 20 years! How about that for a piece of jewellery? Monique Péan's e-commerce site launches in mid-May.
