Meditation - Let Go of Your Heart's Fears and the Ego's Distractions It is suggested to read out loud, taping the meditation, for you to listen at ease. If you do not have this facility, reading is better than nothing.
And now we ask you to sit in silence for a while, allowing the mind to believe that it may rest and feel glad to be alive. How rarely we allow ourselves the luxury of quiet. Breathe the silence into your body now and feel its contentment. And if your mind is anxious and afraid to be still, give it a little something to occupy itself, ask it to go on a journey through the nervous system, healing as it goes. And when there is silence and you can feel your body sigh, imagine the colour of your heart. Get a sense of it and see it begin to fill up your heart centre. What colour is your heart light, is it deep and passionate or pastel, delicate, intricate or strong? Take a few moments to feel the feelings that emerge from the colour as it fills your heart centre. The feelings settle. Let them flow. Feel where they are coming from and where they are going to. Let them find their own rhythm and their own resting place, let them find peace. And now, find the light that rests in the centre of your mind, it sits and watches life as it passes by. White Light merges with the mind, bringing beautiful and powerful energetic healing to your senses and the ego. Our ego serves us tirelessly, creating stories and weaving intricate dramas into our humdrum lives. White Light totally surrounds the ego, allowing it to feel safe and secure, before merging totally and lifting the vail that it has used to hide behind. Breathe and let go of the illusion that the ego has created to protect its Self. Breathe and let go of the constraints that have been holding your heart captive to the fears and frustrations of the ego. Breathe and let go of your heart's fears and total denial that it can love freely and easily without the ego’s dramas and distractions. Breath and let go of fear that there can be no other way to love than the ego’s way. Breathe and believe that the truth lies in the light. The light is opening the mind, the mind is opening to the shining force that you are. The light is flowing through your heart and your mind freely and openly. As your heart absorbs the white light it begins to sing a beautiful and unique song. It gives up its longing for the past and opens up to the future allowing all that has opened from the love to be powerfully and lovingly manifested into the here and now. Blessings rain down upon you. Believe and receive all that is yours. Feel the love and the blessings that are manifesting into your reality through your open heart. Breathe and open your heart even more, you are bringing home all that you are. Imagine the collective love and light spinning within your heart, and as you place your attention on this spinning wheel, watch the radiance grow and change colour, change shape and even change direction. Keep watching for a few moments more, allowing the dance to take place in our heart. Don’t be hasty in moving on, allow time for completion, and wait until there is stillness and a softening, and when that moment comes feel how complete and open your heart feels. Allow that expansive open hearted feeling to grow and bond with the you that lives in the here and now and move it down through your column of light, planting the energy of your Self into the ground beneath your feet. As you ground your energy, know that you are breaking old patterns and promises of doubt and freeing your old painful resistance that chained you to the past. Now is the time , now is the day. Break open the champagne, celebrate and believe that the day has come to be all of your Self. Be free, be free, be free. Christine Amala Hayes
