Homeware to Stop Deforestation In support of eco charity Cool Earth, fashion designer and environmental activist Vivienne Westwood has turned her focus towards homeware, and has designed 20 tablecloths with bold and bright prints from past and current collections. The designs feature the Dame’s trademark political statements and are all signed by Westwood herself. They cost £1,000 pounds each, whereas all proceeds go to Cool Earth. “The greatest thing about Cool Earth is that its activities are focused on the main problem, deforestation," says Westwood. "The money they spend has maximum effect, working alongside indigenous people, putting mechanisms in place to save the planet.” Westwood hopes to raise £100,000 for the organization. Each tablecloth is custom-made and can only be bought online for a limited time. The table cloths can be purchased on Westwood’s website here. Related links: www.coolearth.org
