From Burberry to People Tree British Harry Potter star, Emma Watson, is collaborating with Fair Trade fashion brand, People Tree, for their new spring/summer range. Proceeds from the collection will be donated to the People Tree Foundation, which provides environmental initiatives and technical support for artisans and farmers. Watson, who acted as a creative advisor, has worked closely with the in-house design team to create a capsule lifestyle collection for a younger crowd to bring Fair Trade and organic fashion to a new audience. "I think young people like me are becoming increasingly aware of the humanitarian and environmental issues surrounding fast fashion and want to make good choices but there aren’t many options out there,” says Watson. “It has been the most incredible gap year project.” The collection hits stores end of February next year, featuring 26 women’s and 15 men’s styles, as well as a few accessories. It carries knitwear, cotton t-shirts, jersey dresses, poplin skirts and shorts.
