Oxfam Teams up with the Fashion Crowd Following World Environment Day and the massive impact HOME had on the fashion world, many designers are trying to think of new ways to give back. One of them is Brit (but Italy based) fashion designer Neil Barrett who just teamed up with Oxfam and Ucodep to design a limited edition T-shirt called “We Can Change Lives”. Inspired by actor Colin Firth who organized an Oxfam charity dinner in Rome earlier this year for celebs such as Scarlett Johansson to name a few, Barrett has changed his belief about the world and now knows that if we all make an effort, we’re able to change lives. The edgy Tees for men and women cost 45 Euros and are exclusively sold on www.thecorner.com in two styles: short sleeves and sleeveless. The T-shirts support both organizations, which share the same aim: to improve the lives of those who live in undeveloped countries. Oxfam is one of the largest non-governmental organizations in the world, working in over 100 countries to fight poverty and injustice. Ucodep is a non-governmental Italian organization that for over 30 years has supported and initiated development projects from 20 under-developed countries, in the southern hemisphere to promote awareness and support in Italy.
