Wuji, The New Adidas - Jet Li Collection Have you ever thought about what would happen if you fused martial arts and yoga? It would be called Wuji and would be the brainchild of Jet Li and German sports giant adidas. Wuji not only contains a whole training collection, but also fitness courses to go with it, promoting well-being and the balance of body and mind, urging city dwellers to participate in fitness. The modern men's line (girls will have to borrow their boyfriends' clothes for now) incorporates traditional Chinese Wushu elements and modern apparel technologies, offering sports enthusiasts superb design and comfort. The collection of clothes, bags and accessories comprises the "Master" and "Apprentice" series, which are designed for the professional trainers and the sports amateurs. Starting from this month the Wuji range is rolled out in Hong Kong, mainland China, Macau and Taiwan in different phases with various themes, such as Water (spring/summer), Earth, Light and Air. The Wuji fitness course is currently promoted in China through the gyms and should hit Hong Kong in autumn. The three-year collaboration between the sports heavy-weight and the Wushu master aims to educate people to "live healthier, live better". If things go well, perhaps Wushu followers in Europe and the US might be doing splits and kicks in Wuji pants soon. Vivienne Tang
