The newly opened 3,800 sq ft wellness oasis in the converted Dairy Farm building (a stone's throw away from the surf) boasts signature treatments, such as the Beach Baby spa ritual, where purified sand from grade A Hong Kong beaches is blended with aromatic oils for a unique exfoliation experience. Guests can also choose from Organic Spa treatments with organic oils, a rarity in Hong Kong, as well as Feng Shui, nutrition, pregnancy, weight loss, stress management, food allergy and Aura-Soma colour consultations. New guests at the spa can request complimentary Aura-Soma sessions. Facials, wraps, rejuvenation boosts, detox treatments and other relaxation rituals use skincare products from Elemis, Organic Spa, Murad, Babies Only and Earth Mama.
The family-friendly escape offers recreation for everyone though. There is also a Toni&Guy hair salon, with a special children's section where trained stylists can give busy mums a helping hand.
The haven wouldn't be complete without some "green" nourishment after the treatments. The Eden Café serves up delicious organic snacks and freshly squeezed juices from breakfast to dinner time.
The eco-lifestyle destination also provides manis and pedis, as well as make-up services by Smashbox. In addition to all the healthy elements, The Retreat only uses natural products for cleaning and purifying the stylish interior design, and the organic attitude even encompasses the bean bags with natural beads in the children's corner.
