Moncler Collaborates with the Music World Music meets fashion once again, as Moncler’s latest project continues to create a stimulating melting pot of art and fashion. The fashion brand has turned to no other than the fashion savvy and eclectic star, Pharrell Williams. The special edition collection features a range of men’s jackets and vests. Alongside updated classic Moncler jackets, the key garment is the pacifist version of the bullet-proof vest, which was inspired by ecological materials and icons. The garments are all in black, with leather details and gold waterproof zips. All are made using futuristic fabrics by bionic yarn, a company owned by Pharrell Williams, which makes its materials out of recycled plastic bottles. “To me, Moncler The series of photographs entitled “dark forest”, produced by Japanese artist Keita Sugiura, provides the decorative motif for the lining of the jackets. In green and black, they are highly evocative images of dense, steamy, lush forests captured by the artist at dusk, using only natural sunlight. “Pharrell represents visionary and contemporary eclecticism. A multi-faceted way of interpreting creativity from different standpoints, ranging from music to applied arts and clothing,” says Remo Ruffini, Moncler President and Creative Director.
