McCartney Designs for Gap Stella’s new childrenswear capsule collection for GapKids and babyGap will launch on November 3 at select stores in the US, Canada, UK, France, Japan and online. She has taken her runway trends and combined it with practical experience as a mother-of-three. “It's a reflection of my brand,” she says. “There are pieces that are classic and very sort of timeless and hopefully very chic, and then there are pieces that are the kind you chuck in the washing machine and they get better with time and, you know, they are funny and hopefully a little bit cool.” The 70-piece collection ranges in size from newborn to age 12. The line features McCartney's signature soft colour palette and wearable shapes alongside robot graphics for the boys and her Days of the Week underwear concept for the girls.
