Fashion Meets Conservation

Known for its flower and plant ingredients, hair and skincare brand Aveda launches its autumn/winter 09 fashion collection, Recreate. The Aveda Artistic Team reinterpreted vintage cuts and colours, blending past with present, creating couture clothing constructed out of repurposed materials, including newspaper, denim and vintage trench coats.

Stop by at the Aveda Recreate Well-being Show from September 29 to October 2 at Pacific Place, Hong Kong, and get a 90 min Green Science Skin Renewing Facial for $380 or a Hair Styling by Stylist for $280. Both trials are fully redeemable for regular-priced products or spa/salon services.

But Aveda's green and ethical efforts don't just stop there. The conscious brand is also raising funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) with their new limited edition Hand Relief cream. During the month of October Aveda will donate $4 from each sold Hand Relief to the BCRF to help advance the understanding of environmental links to breast cancer.
