Triumph Goes Green German lingerie brand Triumph is making another green splash, as it introduces its second range under the existing EcoChic line. After the Natural Corn collection (launched in Spring), the new array of ecologically-friendly intimate apparel includes fabrics derived from natural cotton. The days of frumpy hemp knickers are definitely gone. Make room in your wardrobe for some sexy, yet eco-friendly and non-dyed underwear. The Natural Cotton line is skin-sensitive, super soft, sweat-absorbent and made free from the use of bleaches and other chemicals; ideal for allergy-prone ladies. The collection of bras, camisoles, hipsters, strings, minis, etc also features fashionable home wear/sleepwear pieces and accessories, such as socks, bath towels and tote bag to complement the apparel. Apart from cotton and corn based fabrics, the EcoChic line also includes the intelligent SeaCell collection, which is manufactured from active seaweed elements to protect the skin and provide anti-inflammatory properties. Infused with sea nutrients, the cellulose-based fabric actively exchanges calcium, magnesium, vitamin E and minerals upon contact with natural body moisture. How about that for a pair of underpants? To celebrate the launch event of Natural Cotton and show people that the brand is really serious about the environment, Triumph has teamed up with WWF to make a green statement and donated HK$100,000 to the organization to support eco conservation and education work. Furthermore, it promotes BYOB (Bring Your Own Bag) and BYOC (Bring Your Own Chopsticks). The way things are going with must have shopping bags… who knows, maybe we’ll have branded chopsticks soon.
